Noise bad from road during the night. Shower made awful noise like it would blow up and water stood in tub while showering so you had to stand in a lake to shower. "Do not disturb" sign missing. We got bothered as a result while still resting. Decorative ribbon near foot of the bed had disgusting stains on it. Kinda gross. We had stayed here before without these problems but this time was NOT satisfactory.
Great place. Clean. Quiet. Owner and staff was beyond helpful in helping me with my flat tire. And the police patrols the property at the owners personal expense which I think is a nice touch regarding safety and security on their newly renovated property.
The owner should consider selecting a different franchise as I’d never stay at a Rodeway Inn and only looked at this place because it was $70 and had a 4.2 rating out of 5 with many positive reviews (the only negative reviews I saw were people complaining about the lack of amenities and a limited breakfast offering.)
Super friendly staff Angie checked us in and was very nice & friendly. Comfortable clean room & quiet. Pet friendly that was a plus for us! Will stay there again when thru that area.
Recently renovated hotel with new carpet, beds, linens and furniture. I like clean and new as hotels should change out carpet, linens and all upholstery every 3-5 years. On the Nov 25th this place was $70 compared to Hampton at $103 and Holiday Inn Express had a deal @ $81 a night so it’s not a steal but it’s not a “cheap” hotel. If you’re looking for a clean place to stay for the night this is the best deal in Meridian, if you like cinnamon rolls, the hotel breakfast, and the “extras” stay elsewhere.
We highly recommend this hotel. We stopped on our way from the New Orleans area to Birmingham. It was right in the middle. The hotel was very clean and kept up. The owner was extremely friendly and personable and pleasant to talk to. You can tell they care about each person that comes through. It's also a great value. And I love supporting locally owned. If we ever pass by this area we will definitely stay here again.
