The rooms where clean and the staff was super friendly. The only problem we had was that the tub would fill up with water and flood the bathroom floor while taking showers.
To my surprise the facility was clean and newly renovated. The staff was amazingly kind and welcoming asking me if I was one of the Florida evacuees and I answered affirmatively. I was then handed a welcome bag with a few bottled waters, several bases of chips, candy and things for the children. My stress from driving for 3 days began to melt away.
I literally reluctantly came to the Econo lodge because of the reviews and because I had to take a smokers room which was the last room available.

In passing, as I did not stay on this occasion, I should make comment on house keeping staff attentively tending to there professional requirements, and , upon my entering the office I am pleased to write about these ladies prompt greeting, polite demeanor to all my questions and great attitude, yay!
The service was very poor, the rooms are very dirty, they even have roaches, the shower was dirty the beds were dirty, the floors were wet and room smelled very bad. I HAD TO go out and purchase cleaning supplies ,sheet and even air fresher. I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN☹☹.THIS WAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
The worse hotel I've stayed in ... if you have kids don't stay there , a lot of drug activity... our bed sheets were dirty an tried calling the front desk n they don't pick up , n didn't want to leave or take my children out not safe
The room did not smell like a smoking rooms, it was renovated and decorated nicely with a red accent wall, new appliances coffee pot, fridge and microwave. The room as well as the office and grounds were very clean and well maintained. The bathroom had a bowed curtain rod and a beautiful brown marble shower tub combo. The linen was very clean and the towels were crisp clean and white not dingy.......This entire place in addition to the kindness, helpfulness of everyone and professionalism of the staff that I encountered went above and beyond my expectations.
