What a lovely hotel! I am a Platinum member with Marriott and stay with the brand many nights a year. I even stayed with this hotel for 3 work weeks in a row. I wish all Marriott hotels were run like this property. The management and staff were the friendliest people you have ever met. Any request I had, they would make sure was fulfilled. The maids took pride in their work, and I found my rooms as clean as I have ever laid eyes on. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
We had a great stay at this Fairfield. It is a bit of the main road, so it is hard to see at first. It made it feel quieter tucked back from the other hotels. The woman running the breakfast area was a delight. She kept everything stocked, and fresh. She also talked to us like we were someone she knew. It made us feel very welcome. I wish I could remember her name, as I would have liked to make sure she is recognized. We would stay here again if driving through Meridian.
I really wanted to give 5 stars for this Hotel but I can only give it 2 since I am rating it based on the Handicap room #103 not being Wheelchair Accessible. This rooms was not wheelchair-accessible. The beds were very high (Pretty much the norm luxury Hotels that the beds are too high for wheelchair users) and the bathroom was not at all wheelchair-accessible it was impossible to transfer from a wheelchair to the toilet and I was not able to get into the shower, I was only able to see the top of my head while being in front of the mirror sitting in my wheelchair. The beds were very high that made me rely on assistance getting into bed. If I were in my Manual Chair I know I would not have been able to get into the bed with or without assistance. I would have had to call for a roll away bed and with the Hotel being as busy as it was that weekend they may have not had any. Hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and and the complimentary breakfast was good. I should have gotten a discount since i was not able to use the restroom.
Great place that's super convenient to I-20 and restaurants. Indoor pool was great for kids, the only reason it wasn't a 5 star was the eating area was very small. There is a lot of wasted lobby space that could be used me efficiently.
Beautiful hotel. VERY CLEAN & updated. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. The bed was comfortable, and the shower large. (No tub) in the king room. We will definitely be staying here again
