Had several of the rolls that are fried on outside but raw inside. The oil they used tasted old. I was a little suspect but ate anyway. Had to miss work today... First time I have ever gotten sick from sushi.
I love sushi and have eaten sushi through out the US. I ordered a sushi Deluxe. Fish was fresh but very thin. It was served with very little rice balls that was not packed well. It fell apart in the ponzu sauce. Also raw tilapia was one of the fish they serve with thw meal. I asked to have it substituted and was told it would be an extra $2 because the other fish are more expensive. Thats a no brainer! That why tilapia should not be served as sushi! For bill of $25 dollors was not worth it.
So my observation was a very over price for the very little bit of rice and fish. Also very disapointed tilapia was on the menu as sushi fish! How cheap can you get?
Ordered chefs choice and told waitress No octopus and No fried rolls and she put in the opposite and refused to fix issue saying that's what you asked for. Yes gave us a 10 % discount but could not eat 1/2. Manager was rude and stood behind her waitress.
The food is bland and I paid 28.63 for shrimp and chicken teriyaki and there is hardly any food what a waste of money .
The staff was nice, our sushi roll was good, but the vegetables with our hibachi were mainly onions. Overall it was a good experience. We will return.
